SLEEK OH SO SPECIAL PALETTE

So it's been quite a while since I've last posted, but I do have a reasonable excuse! It was exam week at my school so I've busy revising and all that.. but enough about that!

I ordered online, a few things recently, from Superdrug, I seem to have a '2 monthly treat' from Superdrug! So I've been desperate for months to get the Sleek 'OH SO SPECIAL 658' eye palette, so that was definitely the thing that first went in my basket!

I normally find with products I've been wanting for so long that they never live up to the expectation I give them, this definitely didn't! They are easily the most pigmented eye shadows I own, BUY IT! You know you want to ;) The palette is now something i reach for everyday, even if I am wearing very minimalist make up.
I think what makes the palette so good in my opinion is the versatility that it comes with, there is 7 matte shades and 5 have a shimmery finish. I think the colours are really buildable with each other which creates a perfect smokey eye using the matte colours and sometimes when I'm feeling bold I might add a bit of a sparkle with the darkey purple colours. The palette have a big clear mirror which I sometimes use to apply all of my makeup and a little two ended sponge applicator which I find is a bit pointless being there.

LUSH REVIEW | SUNNY SIDE BUBBLE

Recently it was my birthday and one of the presents I was given was the Lush bath bomb sunny side bubble.
Lush's Sunny side bubble bath bomb £3.65
I was waiting for the right moment to use this, so I could have a nice long soak in the bath and enjoy it fully. It's been in my drawer for a few weeks now and I thought the night before a week of exams was the perfect excuse to use it.

I ran the bath and probably a bit to soon I put it in, but instantly it bubbled and started to melt away.

It swirled around for a bit and the sparkles shrunk into a mist in the water. When I got into the bath I felt like I was sitting in golden water, to expensive to wash and relax in! The water was a goldish yellow and had golden cloudy things floating around, which looked beautiful!

I'm definitely going to get this again or ask for it maybe..

thanks for reading! xox

MAY FAVORTIES

Hello again!

I personally didn't think this blog was going to last very long knowing myself! But I logged on just a few hours after I put my first post up and it had already had 10 VIEWS! In some ways I know that's not alot and some of those ten people probably didn't even read it all, but it did actually hit me that 10 people were bothered enough to click on my blog. So to get to the point it's inspired me to write another one just to keep you lovely people happy.I didn't want to spend a long time dragging on about myself on here so I thought I'd get stuck in and make a favorites!

Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation in shade 200 Soft Beige

I bought this the other day after having the Maybelline Fit Me foundation. It was a total nightmare, to start off i bought the completely wrong shade foundation and concealer so i just had this slightly orange head against this lovely pale ish neck, not a good look! But about just over a week over having it I was already starting to hate it.. it had a really thin texture. But I'm really loving this at the moment, it has a really creamy texture and a lightish coverage and stays on all day(most of the times anyway), the only downfall I can find in it really is the little sparkles it has in it, but nothing a bit of powder can't hide.

Benefit Boiing concealer-shade 03
Rimmel Hide the Blemish concealer in Soft Honey

Benefit's concealer have always been amazing but a friend gave me this recently as it was a bit dark for her skin tone, and if I'm honest it doesn't match mine perfectly either, but I find it's great for getting rid of those unbelievably annoying under eye dark circles. Rimmel's concealer is great for one of those lazy days where you just want to cover up those blemishes and go foundation free, it's super creamy and I'd definitely recommend this to someone with dark circles or dry skin.

Rimmel Stay Matte- Sandstorm

I've been really late to pick up one of these after the craze that has literally swept the nation. I'd like to say that it's amazing and it has completely changed my life, but I can't really say it has :( I still think it is good but not worth the hype.I would compare it to something similar but cheaper but it is that cheap for it's quality there's no real point.

Clinque Fresh Bloom- 02 posy

I've had this for AGES now and I actually think it was my mums first. It's said to be a blush but I also think it could be used as a bronzer due to its tone. I really like this, but I don't think it is as pigmented as it may of been once, but saying that you don't need much at all. I usually like to mix the two colours together as it looks more natural on me.

Liquid eyeliner- L'OREAL
Again this is another really old product that I just can't get enough of really. Unlike most eyeliners it has a foamy wand, which is really the only wand i can use when it comes to eyeliner! I can't really say much about it apart from if you struggle with eyeliner this is a great option to go for!

Helen E Cosmetics Mascara- it doesn't seem to have a name..
I've had this for a while now and really it's just a back up mascara, but recently I've really been going off the feel of make-up on my skin, i think it's due to the weather, so if I have been wearing makeup this is a great thing to go to, it leaves lashes looking really natural and that there's lots of lashes unlike some mascaras. I have especially been loving the brown mascara wand purely for the naturalness of it when it's on!

This is the Topshop nail polish in an unknown shade.. (if anyone knows please leave a comment saying what it is please!) but I'm in love with at the moment, it's a really Wedgwood blue and looks great with anything, bot to bright but not to boring which is perfect for me! I wore it for about 5 days and not one chip! I think it was around £7, also it is the nicest nail varnish I've ever applied.

The next is a song I've been loving by Saint Raymond is 'Fall at your feet'. Saint Raymond is from Nottingham, he just has this beautiful voice, and the song I could definitely imagine on MIC! It's also free on iTunes at the moment.

Thanks for reading :) xo
